Trumpeter Tony "The Big Cat" Smith will be performing in Atlantic City at Hudson's Cafe and Grill, 2 West New York Avenue, on Wednesday August 20 from 4pm to 8pm as part of Atlantic City's Jazz and Blues Festival "Jazzin' Around The Town." There will be live music at 15 venues throughout the city with 30+ bands performing. Music will be happening from 4pm until 12midnight throughout the city.

Single venue tickets are $10 each. All venue passes are $50 each. Buy the all venue pass early and catch the 2-4-1 special rate. If it's May, that means Denise King presents Friday Night Jazz is right around the corner. We've all been anxiously awaiting Spring and the return of our Jazz. Spring is here and Jazz is only weeks away. This promises to be a great season full of fun and surprises. We have a great line up.

As you all know, this series is free and open to all, but because this is truly a grass roots operation, we depend on donations from community groups, friends and lovers of Jazz. This, our ninth year finds us with a shortage of about $10,000. If you have enjoyed the music for the past nine years, I ask that you continue to support Friday Night Jazz, the longest running Jazz series in the city. Your contribution will go toward paying the fine musicians who perform for us every week, buying books for BeBop and Books and it's tax deductible.
